Was born in Rome and still lives there with Diana, a cocker spaniel that is even more blonde than she is. Following a quixotic graduation from the Professional Institute for Food Sciences, a school that no longer exists, she went on to study and graduate from the Silvio d’Amico National Academy of Arts and Drama. She then worked as an actress in theater, voice acting, and as a radio and television host. Building on her experience with theater screenplays, in 2000 she studied as a screenplay writer with Script/Rai, and since then has worked primarily as a writer for television and cinema, with work that includes La squadra, I Cesaroni, Love Bugs, Tutta colpa di Freud and Succede. In 2016 she won the David di Donatello and the Ciak d’Oro awards for writing Perfetti Sconosciuti, which also won accolades at the Tribeca Film Festival. June 2018 saw the publishing of her second novel Non puoi sapere anche l’amore by Cairo editore Rcs.
