Maurizio Marchitelli has started his career as an architect and, at the same time, had a passion for the photography (for a short time he’s been the assistant of the photographer Fabrizio Ferri). In 1984 he began to approach to set design, working as a photographer for various record companies on the set of many videoclips. Since then, his passion for photography has remained, and he started to work as a set designer. He’s dealt with settings of many film and television projects (Pippo Chennedi Show, Parla con me, L’Ottavo Nano and so on). He has set up the setting of Americano Rosso, Mille bolle blu, Camerieri, Al momento giusto, Viaggi di nozze, Sono Pazzo di Iris Blond, Gallo Cedrone, Ma che colpa abbiamo noi, L’Amore è eterno finché dura, Il mio Miglior Nemico, for which he received a nomination to David di Donatello for best Set Designer, Visions, Scusa ma ti chiamo amore, Scusa ma ti voglio sposare, Amore 14 and others.
